Who we are
Wenza ("the app", "we") is a personal productivity and fitness app for iPhone. This policy explains what data the app uses and how it's handled.
The short version
- Your content lives on your device and syncs only through your own iCloud.
- Health data is used only with your permission and never sent to us.
- We use no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party trackers.
- We never sell or share your information.
Account & sign-in
Wenza uses Sign in with Apple. Apple provides a name and an email address (which may be a private relay address you control) so the app can identify your account. This is used only to hold your data under your account — nothing more.
Your content
Tasks, calendar preferences, workouts, and the habits/behaviors you track are stored locally on your device. If you have iCloud enabled, this content is mirrored to your private iCloud key-value storage so it restores on a new device or after reinstalling. This sync is between you and Apple — the developer has no access to it.
Health & fitness data
With your explicit permission, Wenza reads certain data from Apple Health to show it on your dashboard — steps, active energy, heart rate, and workouts. Workouts you complete in the app can be written back to Apple Health. Health data stays on your device and in Apple Health; it is never transmitted to us or any third party. You can revoke access any time in the Health app or iOS Settings.
Apple Reminders
If you turn on Apple Reminders sync (off by default), Wenza asks permission to access your Reminders. It then imports reminders you create elsewhere — including with Siri — so they appear in Wenza, and keeps completion in sync both ways. Reminders you create in Wenza can be mirrored to a "Wenza" list. This data moves only between your device and your own iCloud/Apple account; it is never sent to us, and you can turn the sync off any time.
Microphone & speech
If you use voice to add a task, Wenza uses the microphone and speech recognition only to turn what you say into task text. Audio is used for that transcription and is not stored or sent to us.
Notifications
Reminders and habit nudges are scheduled as local notifications on your device. They contain your own task and reminder text and are not shared.
What we don't do
- No analytics or usage tracking.
- No advertising or ad identifiers.
- No third-party SDKs that collect your data.
- No selling, renting, or sharing of your information.
Children
Wenza is a general-audience productivity app and is not directed at children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update the date above and post the new version here.
